Crue Fest 2 - Motely Crue with Godsmack and Theory of a Deadman - Cynthia Woods

It was a last minute decision for me to attend this concert - but I'm sure glad I did. Godsmack is one of my favorite bands, and they put on an awesome show. I drove from work, and arived at the pavilion around 6:30ish. Tony got VIP tickets, so we started the evening with a few drinks and snacks in the Cynthia Woods VIP lounge - woohoo!

Theory of a Deadman got the crowd started....

As I was filming the above clip, I was approached by seurity who told me "put that camera away or I will take it from you". ...evidently, there was a strict policy against cameras at this show. ....ok....well....anyway....

It wasn't long before it was time for Godsmack. HELL YEAH!!!

...wouldn't you know it - I got busted by security filming the above clip. He said "let's go"....and I thought that I was getting thrown out. But no, he said "we're going to check in that camera" I tried to talk my way out of it, and felt I was really close a couple times...but no....I was escorted to the gate, where I was handed off to anothe security gal, who gave me the paper work to check in my camera. Well, as I was filling out the paper work, the security guy who busted me left....so I finished the paper work... but instead of giving up my camera, I handed the security gal my cell phone, and walked back to may seat. Hehehehe....
