Double B Ranch - 2025 January through May

It was a cold start to the new year. We got snow in Houston!!!! ...and had a hard freeze at the ranch. Unfortunately, we didn't get as much rain this spring, so we didn't have the amazing flowers like we had last year. Regardless, the weather's been beautiful and we've really enjoyed our times at the ranch.

There's always something that needs fixing. In this case, I had a flat on my tractor,

The waterfall is looking good!

I wanted to see what was coming to the new watering hole, so I set up a trail cam.

As expected, lots of deer - but tons of other animals as well.

Lauren and Trey joined Jacqui and I in March, and we celebrated Lauren's 24th birthday

It was COLD!!! ...that's about two inches of ice

The first weekend of May we celebrated Jacqui's birthday!

On Friday night, Lauren, Jacqui and I had dinner at Cabernet Grill in Fredericksburg

And on Saturday morning we went horseback riding

While I think Jacqui enjoyed it, she didn't LOVE it like Lauren and I did

YeeeeHawwww!!

We had FUN!!!!

Saturday night we had happy hour with Bob and Dina, and we drove to see some exotics

Impressive!!
